Mark Philp

Mark Philp is a co-editor of Re-imagining Democracy in the Age of Revolutions: America, France, Britain, Ireland 1750-1850 (OUP, 2013). He is a Professor at the University of Warwick. His research interests include issues relating to political conduct and corruption, the re-imaging of democracy at the end of the eighteenth and the beginning of the nineteenth centuries, the Godwin Diaries, political realism and political ethics, and the history of political thought.
